What is the difference between the PSAT and the SAT test?
Good question. The PSAT is just a slightly shorter version of the SAT, and the PSAT does not have the essay portion of the writing test. Furthermore, the scoring is very similar, except that the PSAT is out of 1520 and the SAT is out of 1600. Our average PSAT score this past year was a 1450, and our average SAT score this past year was 1490, the 99th percentile and the 98th percentile respectively.
