Reminder: Students have averaged over a 4 point gain on the ACT since we started our ACT Prep courses. Many students gain between 5 to 9 points if they complete their ENTIRE individualized ACT Prep program.* The most we have ever helped a student increase their score in recent years was 12 points, which was an increase from a 20 to a 32. The work you put in is the primary indicator of the gains you should expect to receive!

How many students are in your ACT Prep classes?
The ACT Prep classes usually consist of 5 or less students.  We always have several that you can choose from, and we try to match your needs with a group of students with similar needs.  We can do this because we have so many students and groups throughout the week. Each session is 1.5 hours long. Students attend at least one per week but can attend more than once a week. Students typically receive the maximum gains by attending 16-20 sessions, which is about 4-5 sessions per subject area. We have small groups for this available on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Current group price is $40 per session. Call for additional details. Individual prices are currently $50 per hour when available.
Is it true that most of your students increase their score by 5 or more points by attending your ACT Prep classes?
You might have heard about this from a student at your school. It does depend on the time spent, the effort, and where the student starts; generally students do experience gains of 5-6 points, with some gaining as much as 8 or more. We have the scholarship winners, between $14-20 million each year from 2018-2021 to prove it.
What type of materials do you use for the ACT Prep Classes?
We use “The Official ACT Prep Guide”, the only official ACT prep guide that includes 5-6 complete retired official ACT tests. We also use various other official preparation materials that ACT has released for study purposes. We have about 20 OFFICIAL ACT tests in all!
What else can I expect from your ACT Prep classes?
The classes consist of test taking tips and a complete breakdown of precisely how many questions of each type are included on each part of the ACT. Example, do you know exactly how many trig questions are on the ACT, and how those questions might be asked? We share several ways to attack these problems alone. Do you know the rules for commas and how they are presented on the test? Do you know the best way to increase your reading speed to get through the reading ACT section and the science ACT section?
What sets your ACT Prep apart from other Colorado Springs tutoring companies?

We are the most affordable, proven test prep company around because we care about the members of our community. We believe that families should get the help they need and deserve without spending a fortune. Did you know that some tutors will charge $100-500 PER HOUR to “help” a student? Why pay that type of money when you can pay less and receive a more significant improvement.
We also address exactly how to pace yourself for each part of the test based on your strengths and challenges. We then help you to improve your pacing to improve your chances of finishing well before time is up. We show you which answers you should ALWAYS try first on certain parts of the test and why. Other test taking tips we include is how to eliminate obviously wrong answers when uncertain, which is extremely important on timed-test like the ACT. If you have any special accommodations, we show you how to make use of those to maximize your score.

Can your ACT Prep  help me with the essay?
Have to take the writing test? We can show you how to maximize your 40 minutes or less of writing time to get the best possible score on your essay. This includes how to properly word your counterarguments to multiple perspectives and add enough details. We have the template you need to score high.

What is a good ACT score?
It depends on the schools you are considering and what type of scholarships you are trying to earn. We will help you identify what scores you most likely need to increase your chances of admission to specific schools and how to calculate what areas we should target most to receive the largest gains.
